A message from John’s daughter
First of all thank you for your kind words in the e-mails below. We have
been inundated with such lovely messages from so many people. Richard – the
obituary you wrote was wonderful, thank you so much for taking the time out
to do that for him, he would have loved it as I know he was so passionate
about his recent career change into coaching and really enjoyed the numerous
courses/ meetings he had with you.
We have finally been able to confirm the date of the funeral. It will take
place next Thursday (7th September) at the Macclesfield Crematorium @ 3.30
(it is very close to the Macclesfield District General Hospital and I
believe it is signposted). Afterwards we have arranged for some light
refreshments at a lovely pub called the Legh Arms in Prestbury. On the day
we will hand out maps on how to get there, but it only 5 minutes away. If
you could let me know if you or anyone else is interested in coming that
would be great. Needless to say everyone is welcome.
