And, of course, those of your senior people too ...
If you are striving to significantly increase the effectiveness of teams and individuals in your organisation, then executive coaching and mentoring is an area you should seriously consider.
Executive coaching is all about the future – setting better goals, and reaching your goals faster, making better decisions, and improving your relationships ...
... discovering your hidden potential and achieving it – fast!!
We've enjoyed enormous success doing exactly this for leading organisations around the world for over two decades.
What makes executive coaching from Brefi Group so much more effective?
Because we operate within the context of the organisation – but committed to the individual – we can perform at a higher level, bringing benefits to the organisation as well as the individual. We are able to measure results against an organisation's objectives and external benchmarks such as the Institute of Directors and Management Charter Initiative competencies.
An executive coach is a confidential sounding board, a friend.
What is executive coaching?
Executive coaching is "just in time" learning – as opposed to training, which could be "just in case". If coaching is combined with training, the learning can be applied and thoroughly integrated back in the workplace.
At a coaching session, you will bring an agenda of issues or items you wish to work with and your coach will help you solve problems, establish priorities and make the most of opportunities. Your coach will challenge, offer alternatives and provide support.
The Industrial Society says: "Coaching is the art of facilitating the performance, learning and development of another."
Fortune Magazine says: "One to one performance coaching is the way for both organisations
and individuals to significantly impact the bottom line."
Why executive coaching is for you
Does lack of time to get away for courses stop you from improving your own or your team's effectiveness? Do you lack a personal mentor, someone to act as a sounding board, someone to give honest and direct feedback?
If so, executive coaching by a mentor who understands corporate issues could be the solution. Here is
why: coaching is concerned with people achieving results. It is on-the-job experiential learning - during the day or outside working hours. No time away, no reports, just improvement. And an opportunity to become a role model in your own organisation.
When did you last ask yourself these questions?
- What are my most important needs just now?
- What are my most important goals – have I got quality goals?
- What stops me from achieving my goals? What blocks, obstacles or challenges get in the way?
Executive coaching and mentoring help you answer these questions. Coaching at the top is cost effective and rapid – acting at the point of maximum leverage, where it can generate change and cascade behaviours through the organisation. It enables you to develop more rapidly and produce more satisfying results.
